Technorati

Sounds all 'Dan Brown' conspiracy doesn't it? I've signed up regardless. Looks like the masons of the internet to me. Freemasons, not stone masons.

Still learning about this blogging lark and to be frank, getting a blog up and running is easy but it's bloody hard work if you want to write right and do it well. I'm not sure i know what i'm getting myself in for but we shall see.

With the help of Technorati i should be one step closer to understanding the blogosphere though by the time i convince myself i actually understand it there will be something else taking over the world. Like reading a book that you finally get at the very end, what's the point in that? Do you ever read it again from the different viewpoint? Really? And no, Dan Brown books do not count, they are essentially comics but without images.

People poo poo comics as naff but love the Dan Brown stuff! I can see the point in both but am now quite concerned that you have me down as a comic geek or some Dan Brown fan... I am neither. And i'm not a mason either, of any description.

Reading through this post i feel i have proved my point... Setting a blog up is one thing, but doing it well is another. Let's hope technorati helps, for all our sakes.

Distraction from Action

Plenty of people are moaning about things on the internet, wherever you go things are not quite right. There seems to be a distinct lack of positive ideas for how to go about creating or shaping change (either that or i am just not looking in the right places). I don't count anything that just supports making things change back to the 'way they were'.

The obvious exception that proves the rule is on technical sites where people fall over themselves to provide practical advice. What about the bigger issues?

What have i done about it? I have read a great blog at www.beppegrillo.it and not just commented, i've tried to help out. Now i am not arrogant enough to think that my actions will help or change anything BUT if everybody came up with suggestions then i'm sure we'd find answers to these things much quicker.

The ironic nature of this post is not lost on me BUT the very fact that i have posted this message as a 'call to arms' may well change a reader's approach, which can only be a good thing!

Ideas welcomed, as would be anything that proves me wrong!

Blog = Aggro

My first blog ever. Rubbish title I know, but it's late and i am getting grief for being anti-social. Can a wife give you an ASBO? Definitely GBH and divorce but I'm not sure about an ASBO. I guess wives end up giving you AGRO instead, far worse.

I would imagine that you get more grief per wife (including ex's) just based on the fact that they must all be pissed off that you have another (or have had another) wife. The aggro factor must be hugely disproportionate. I feel sorry for those of you sufferiing to prove my point.

With that frightening thought in my mind i ought to head off to ensure i keep my own personal Aggrometer down to tolerable levels.
